Tailored sobriety support programs fostering hope, health, and healing.

Hope Recovery Housing, Inc. is partnered with community agencies that offer peer support, case management, 1-on-1 SUD (substance use disorder), and behavioral health counseling to fill the service gap for our residents and the community. These supportive services encourage individuals to work towards long-term sobriety and independence on their timeline. We take an individualized approach with each resident.

These community partners accept Ohio Medicaid, Medicare, and most forms of private insurance so that our residents and the community battling addiction can receive all treatment services. Please note counseling services are available to the community as well as Hope Recovery Residents.

Program Fees:

All new residents receive their first three months paid for by a grant while engaged in intensive outpatient treatment. Once completed and obtaining gainful employment, they are responsible for $200; the grant will pay the other half of $200. At six months, the client will be responsible for the entire program fee of $400. some exceptions can be made, and every client will be handled on a CASE-BY-CASE basis.

Often, the old residence of the person with an addiction is not safe. Here are some reasons Sober Living Homes is the right choice for you:

  • You are new to the 12 steps.
  • Your previous residence has substance users.
  • You don’t have anywhere to reside after treatment.
  • If returning with family is triggering/ stressful for the addict and family members
  • You need a stronger, sober support system.
  • You need to avoid isolation/loneliness.
  • You want to stay sober.

If this sounds like your situation, please call us! We can help. 724-813-3678 or 216-401-8221.

How Do Sober Living Homes Work?

There are many options for sober-living homes that work in a variety of ways, so finding a good fit based on your individual needs is essential. Sober living can occur at the same time as outpatient addiction treatment programming, or it can occur after the completion of a treatment program. The National Association of Recovery Residences defines four different categories of sober-living environments, including:

Level 1 Peer-Run: These are often single-family homes that are democratically run, typically with a senior resident holding other residents accountable. Drug screenings and house meetings are typical, but there are no paid clinical positions within the home.

Level 2 Monitored: These are typically single-family homes or apartments. They can be run by a senior resident or a house manager with at least one compensated position. Drug screenings and house meetings are typical, as well as peer-run groups and house rules.

Level 3 Supervised: This type of dwelling varies, but the facility is typically licensed, and there is an organizational hierarchy, administrative oversight, and policies and procedures. Life skills development is emphasized, and clinical services are provided outside of sober living services. Staff are certified, and drug screenings are standard.

Level 4 Integrated: Services tend to be provided in a more institutional environment and are often transitional services for those completing an addiction treatment program. Clinical services are provided in-house with a strong emphasis on life skills development. Staff are credentialed, and drug screening is standard.

Recovery Housing, Inc. is a Level 2 house that is certified by the State of Ohio through the Ohio Recovery Housing Board and the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Board.
